This course delineates a succession planning process through a focus on three key activities: Define the Succession Objectives, Understand the Succession Life-Cycle System, and Apply the Succession Life-Cycle System. The succession objectives allow the company to look into the future, identify future requirements and standards for succession, and develop a plan to grow talent in the organization. In addition to learning the Succession Life-Cycle System, the students will also learn how to use two tools to help them effectively apply the system and evaluate succession fit in the organization.
